UK-based Pay by Bank solution VibePay has launched ‘Guest Payments’, giving users the functionality to request funds from individuals without the app, and has unveiled a web app version of its Pay by Bank mobile app product.
The new ‘Guest Payments’ feature in the VibePay app enables users, including small businesses, to send payment directly to friends, family and customers, and in turn, they can pay by clicking the link and paying directly from their bank account “without the hassle” of inputting card details or downloading the app.
Among the benefits of its new ‘Guest Payments’ feature listed by VibePay are fee-free transactions, instant payment transfers and direct communication channels.
The latter means that small businesses can communicate directly with their customers about payments on the one platform, including messaging around delivery, returns, payment and discounts and refunds.
In addition, VibePay has made changes to its website, enabling users to log-in to their VibePay account online, as well as in app.
VibePay said the new web app version of its Pay by Bank solution will help sellers manage payments directly from their desktop, “transforming VibePay into a versatile Point of Sale (POS) tool”.
Luke Massie, chief executive officer of VibePay, said: “We are thrilled to introduce Guest Payment and the Web App version of VibePay, reaffirming our commitment to revolutionising the payment landscape through opening up Pay by Bank for all.
“These enhancements empower businesses to streamline operations, maximise profitability, and deliver unparalleled convenience to their customers.”
