Why is cultivating your leadership skills so vital, regardless of experience or long-term ambition?

Leadership skills allow you to live your life to the fullest – regardless of your specific job, experiences, personal or professional ambitions. Leadership starts with sound self-awareness and self-management.

Most people miss how much internal work leadership requires. Strong leaders, first and foremost, lead themselves well. They can set clear, measurable, inspiring goals for themselves that align with their values and core. They can identify and allocate resources to achieve these goals.

And through that, they change the world for the better – not only by achieving their goals, but also by setting a positive example and influence for their families, colleagues, friends and society at large.

What would you like attendees to take away from your session at the meet-up?

Leadership starts with knowing and leading yourself.
