Embedded finance enabler mmob and Open Banking provider Yapily have partnered to accelerate deployment of Yapily’s Open Banking solutions and broaden access to a wider range of businesses.
Through the partnership, effective technical implementation of Yapily’s Open Banking solutions will take two hours.
By using mmob’s platform, an Open Banking journey can be constructed from Yapily’s APIs that match a partner’s brand identity, and then integrated as a native, embedded solution within the partner’s digital channels.
According to mmob, the integration is “streamlined” into a single code “snippet”, with implementation achieved in around two hours.
By contrast, the alternative would require development of the user experience, and the partner would have to manage the ongoing integration themselves.
Mmob’s universal API adaptor removes barriers for companies with smaller budgets or less technical expertise, broadening access to advanced financial technology.
Irfan Khan, mmob’s chief executive officer and founder, said: “Having a large engineering team and the expertise to handle complex technical integrations should not be a prerequisite for integrating the latest payment options for your customers.
“Together with Yapily, mmob will enable clients to easily embed Open Banking in just hours, so they can focus on what they do best – running their business.”
Stefano Vaccino, chief executive officer and founder of Yapily called the partnership a step towards making Open Banking “accessible to all”.
“This collaboration is about enabling our partners, irrespective of their technical capabilities, to quickly and efficiently harness the power of Open Banking. We are excited to see how this further accelerates the adoption of Open Banking,” added Vaccino.
Last month, mmob began working with Satago so that lenders and corporates in the UK will be able to embed Satago’s invoice finance and cash flow solutions via mmob’s integration capabilities.
