Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Helen Bierton as everyday banking director from Starling Bank, where she held the role of chief banking officer, latterly.
Bierton joined Lloyds in October, having left Starling the same month, according to her LinkedIn profile.
On LinkedIn, she wrote: “I am delighted to have joined Lloyds Banking Group as Everyday Banking Director.
“I am really looking forward to working with my new colleagues across the group, and to working together to continue Helping Britain Prosper.”
In her new role, Bierton will lead the everyday banking team to deliver services and propositions to personal customers managing their current and savings accounts.
She worked at Starling from November 2018 and, prior to that, was at Santander for nine years.
At Santander, she started as head of current accounts, before ending up as director of products, Santander Business.
Starling’s founder Anne Boden stepped down as chief executive officer at the end of June 2023, although she remains on the board as a non-executive director.
Lloyds Banking Group has been contacted for comment.
