Raidiam, a creator of data-sharing ecosystems globally, has made two appointments as it seeks to expand its global footprint.

Lukasz Jaromin will join Raidiam in the role of head of standards and product strategy, while David Oppenheim has been appointed as head of strategic business development.

Lukasz Jaromin, Raidiam’s head of standards and product strategy

Jaromin is one of the co-founders of Cloudentity, an identity, authorisation and consent Software-as-a-Service platform which was acquired by SecureAuth.

Raidiam referred to Jaromin as “a significant voice in global standards”, having contributed to FAPI, which is a “gold standard” security profile that has been adopted by many Open Finance ecosystems.

At Raidiam, Jaromin will be responsible for leading the development and integration of cross-industry standards and product strategy that align with the company’s strategic objectives and are informed by market needs.

He said: “In the era of identity decentralisation and the proliferation of Open Data ecosystems for consumer-permissioned data sharing, trust is more important than ever before.

“I’m thrilled to join Raidiam, who have pioneered Open Finance developments around the world, to help shape their cutting-edge products that are essential for trust establishment in any modern ecosystem based on open standards.”

David Oppenheim, head of strategic business development at Raidiam

Oppenheim recently completed a short project-based engagement with Raidiam and, in his new role, will work with a range of consultancies and technology vendors to assemble propositions for regulatory, consortium and enterprise clients.

He will also develop the company’s ‘Partnership Programme’ to identify and work with vendors that have products which have achieved the appropriate security accreditations to integrate with the Raidiam ‘Connect Trust Platform’.

Oppenheim previously headed up ecosystem partnerships at Paymentology and, prior to that, was head of payment partnerships at Thought Machine.

Barry O’Donohoe, Raidiam’s co-founder and chief executive officer, said: “These latest senior appointments to our team further demonstrate the growth trajectory that the company is on.

“Our expertise, products and credentials are unmatched by any other provider in the market and with both Lukasz and David joining us, our knowledge and ability to lead the global development of Smart Data ecosystems is only set to continue.”

Last month, Raidiam hired Jacob Morgan as its second Open Data strategist.
