Ecommpay and BigCommerce join forces for ecommerce payment solution

End-to-end payments platform for ecommerce, Ecommpay, has added Software-as-a-Service and composable ecommerce platform BigCommerce to its list of integrations with CMS and ecommerce platforms.

BigCommerce supports tens of thousands of online stores across more than 150 countries.

Through the partnership, BigCommerce and Ecommpay will provide UK and EMEA merchants with a payment solution designed to help them save on the costs associated with payment processing via intelligent routing and cascading.

The solution is also designed to increase approval rates, enhance the checkout experience, and ensure secure payments for merchants.

The newly-launched configurable BigCommerce payment plugin, promises a user-friendly integration experience that doesn’t require any coding skills and will allow customers to upgrade their payment systems with no downtime.

By deploying this solution, merchants can offer a diverse range of global and local payment options, including PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, as well as Ecommpay’s proprietary Open Banking solution.

Additionally, the plugin supports buy now, pay later options, such as Klarna and PayPal Credit, and Direct Debit functionalities.

One of the features of this integration is the Ecommpay hosted payment page, which sources card details.

The plugin is available from the BigCommerce App Store.

Last year, Ecommpay added to its integrated Open Banking payment suite with the launch of ‘Open Banking Select’, which includes integrations with Open Banking providers such as Token.io, as well as Nuapay and Neopay.
